I went out for my cousin’s birthday yesterday and decided to put on a full face of makeup for once. Seeing as I haven’t done a beauty post in a while I took some photos as I went along to put in this post. Please ignore the awful quality of the photos! The final look is the featured photo. 🙂
I started with applying my Tea Tree Face Moisturiser from The Body Shop and then my Maybelline Fit Me Foundation with a beauty blender. Even though the foundation is matte and doesn’t need it, I applied my transparent powder from Rimmel just to add an extra layer of stuff to my face as the foundation is quite a light coverage. Next, I whacked out the Revolution ‘Ultra Sculpt & Contour Kit’ that I bought for £3.50 a few months ago. Now, I haven’t properly learnt how to use it yet so I stayed away from the highlighter but I did apply a bit of the bronzer and blush!
Please ignore the fact that all these photos are mirror selfies as I was in a rush!
Now onto the eyes. I used my Naked 3 palette. Starting with nooner all over the eyelid, I then applied factory to my crease. After that I put the tiniest amount of blackheart into my crease and blended for what felt like forever. To finish off I applied mugshot all over the eyelid and strange into the inner corner.
After this I usually then apply eyeliner but I was running out of time so I just put on my Perversion mascara by Urban Decay.I noticed after taking the photos above I didn’t blend enough so I then went back and blended my eyeshadow more.
As you can see, my lips are basically non-existent so I lined my lips using a lip pencil from MAC. Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact colour and I’ve lost the MAC lipstick I used too as soon as I put it on! I didn’t manage to take a photo of my outfit before I left so here’s a lovely selfie of me in the Pizza Express toilets.
The dress t-shirt is from H&M and I absolutely love it, the denim jacket is from Topshop and I wore my Dr Martens. I apologise for the fact that this post is a complete mess but I really wanted to write it anyways. 🙂
